    Role Description:

    Are you analytical? Do you like working in a team, leading a team, and building relationships? Do you have a curious mind? If so, you would fit right into the EMEA Commodities Operations Team.

    Right now, we are looking for someone smart to join the team. We focus on the timely settlement and reconciliation of both physically and cash settled products for the Global Commodities business. The team liaise with Trading/Sales, Legal and other operational teams as well as external clients, and vendors, and need to understand the Commodities Trade Lifecycle from trade booking through to Cash and Physical settlement and reconciliation. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to be part of a growing function that has focus from senior Business and Operations management. As a manager of the team, you will be able to apply critical thinking and a driven mindset to ensure that settlements are executed in a timely fashion. This role offers a high level of visibility as you will work with several other internal teams to provide seamless delivery and support to a range of stakeholders. This is an expanding team established in EMEA to provide specialist support for existing and new emerging Commodities products as part of our global settlements function - We have a presence in Houston, and Singapore.

    Responsibilities Include:
  • You will lead the EMEA Commodities team responsible for the settlement of physical and financial commodities
  • You will produce and review daily KRIs and KPIs.
  • You will drive performance improvements in risk and performance metrics.
  • You will coordinate with global teams on escalations to ensure BofA risk is mitigated.
  • You will be involved with our Change team to drive forward process enhancement initiatives
  • You will be involved with our Technology and support teams in response to incidents.
  • You will assess and interpret business led changes that will impact the Commodities Settlement process.
  • You will Liaise with our risk and compliance partners, and champion risk culture
  • You will challenge the team's processes and generate ideas to improve how we do things
  • You will have active involvement with the Business to onboard new products.
    What we are looking for:
  • You will ideally have experience in Commodities, FX, and Derivatives
  • You will have experience in identifying and implementing process improvements.
  • You will have experience attending risk forums and be able to clearly articulate risk incidents and remediation.
  • You will act as a role model to the team; and implement strategy for good employee engagement.
  • You will have analytical skills including data reconciliation and interpretation
  • You will have a good sense of judgement, know when to escalate and how to manage senior management expectations
  • You will thrive in a team-based environment working toward common goals, while having fun along the way
    Additional Skills:
  • Excellent organizational skills - ability to switch between tasks and to prioritise work effectively.
  • Effective communication skills - ability to run effective meetings and engage confidently with different stakeholders across the organization, building relationships with both internal and external clients, influence decisions and outcomes through effective communication.
