    Residential Block Manager - Brent Cross, NW4A fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Residential Block Manager has just come available with our client based in Brent Cross, NW4

    This role will primarily assisting the Director in the property management department, undertaking day-to-day management responsibilities across the portfolio, and other associatedadministrative duties.

    Duties will include but not limited to:
    Liaising / communicating (both verbally and in writing) with clients, residents, contractorsand on-site staff, as required.
    Seeking quotations and issuing instructions for maintenance work, and confirming that theyhave been satisfactorily completed.
    Raising and authorising invoices for payment.
    Submitting and dealing with insurance claims in accordance with the correct procedure.
    Be prepared to undertake projects from start to finish.
    Action works required after site visits.
    Obtain quotations for and implement recommendations contained in health and safety reports.
    Arranging meetings, preparing required paperwork and booking venues if required.
    Attendance at occasional client meetings (some after working hours).
    Periodic site visits.
    Prepare deeds of covenants
    Preparing pre-contract files for solicitors
    Dealing with insurance claims
    Filing.
    The right candidate ideally will possess the following:
    It would be desirable, but not essential, if the candidate had previous experience in block managementindustry.
    A methodical approach to, and an attention to detail when, undertaking tasks.
    Good communication skills (both written and verbal).
    A clear, concise, polite and professional telephone manner.
    Confidence to use various Microsoft packages (Outlook, Word, Excel)
    An ability to continually prioritise their workload.
    A willingness to be a team player.
    An ability to problem solve.
    A positive 'can do' attitude.
    Desirable to be a car owner.
    This Block Manager position is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate, with long term career prospects.

    The hours will be:
    Monday to Friday 9am – 5:30pm

    Salary range will be:
    between £32,000pa to £37,000pa basic
