About the Role:
As a Principal P&C Design Engineer, you'll be pivotal in delivering outstanding projects that pave the way towards a sustainable future. Working alongside a dynamic team of experts, you'll have the opportunity to shape the entire lifecycle of projects, from inception to implementation.
What You'll Do:
Lead FEED and detail design works, focusing on protection and control aspects of various projects.
Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
Champion design review and hazard meetings, ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
Act as a liaison between clients and internal stakeholders, understanding and addressing their needs effectively.
Mentor and coach junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
What You'll Need:
Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualifications.
Chartered Engineer status through the IET or in the process of obtaining it.
Extensive experience in P&C design within the UK energy sector.
Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Flexibility to travel to client sites as required.
Right to work in the UK.
