- Maintain that all-important personal touch through regular face-to-face client visits, high impact sales conversations and ongoing engagement with key decision makers
- Engage in Local Authority, MAT, school and educator challenges and create solutions to benefit them
- Maintain excellent understanding and knowledge of the education market and key trends both nationally and locally
- Spot tender opportunities, prepare, submit & present bids to potential clients
- Conduct localised market analysis, client mapping and client development planning, highlighting successes, opportunities, and areas for improvement
- Identify opportunities for new and enhanced product offerings, services, and client tactics on an ongoing basis
- Prepare for and attend client networking events, conferences and exhibitions
- Work with key internal stakeholders to deliver an outstanding customer experience

- Base Salary: £45,000 to £55,000 (dependent on experience)
- Uncapped Commission based on sales in your region: OTE £10,000+ per annum

( Job Details The opportunity We are looking for a high energy, positive, determined person who is excited to actively reach out to Local Authorities (LAs), Multi Academy Trusts (MATs), schools and colleges and talk to them about what Thrive offers. You will understand the school sector, challenges, mindset, decision makers and buying processes well. This hybrid role centred around London and the South of England offers good salary, commission and employee benefits. The Role As a Thrive Business Development Team Manager (South) you will support business growth through the provision of strategic and tactical business development via Local Authority, Multi Academy Trust and Multi School Group partnerships, individual school relationships and the development and management of the client portfolio. This role plays a key part of the overall growth strategy of the company and is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact. Ideally you will have worked (or be working) in an education business, Local Authority, MAT or school and have first hand experience of how UK schools function, from day to day teaching in the classroom to strategic decision making.
