    Sustainability (ESG) Manager – Job DescriptionAbout the jobThe Environmental Social & Governance (ESG) Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing the Mirius ESG strategy.

    The role includes managing the improvement of our ESG performance, certification, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.

    We understand that best practice ESG management is the right thing to do and a business imperative. We are looking for an ESG Manager who shares this understanding and can drive progress.

    Job PurposeReporting to the Technical Director we require an ESG Manager to lead the continued development and implementation of our ESG practice and strategy.

    The right candidate will be genuinely enthusiastic about environmental stewardship supported by high quality experience in leading an organization through change processes required by progressive ESG projects with multiple stakeholders.


    This role will:

    • Lead the design of, and be responsible for implementing and managing, our ESG strategy.
    • Work with key stakeholders to develop and deliver planned ESG objectives including infrastructure, analysis and reduction of energy consumption and carbon emissions.
    • Ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
    • Train internal staff on ESG policies and processes and serve as the point of contact for sustainability-related activities.

    Responsibilities· Measure, track and report progress on ESG KPIs.· Collaborate with relevant internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the design, implementation and monitoring of projects to achieve the company's ESG objectives.· Be the principal point of contact on ESG-related administrative activities, including responding to enquiries from internal and external parties including management, customers and other stakeholders.· Identify opportunities to improve our ESG framework through research, industry benchmarking and discussions with relevant bodies.· Creation and delivery of training materials where applicable to support implementation of ESG strategy across the organization.

    Requirements· A bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

    A master's degree or professional certification in sustainability or ESG management is preferred.· Strong, detailed experience in ESG, sustainability, or a related field.· Sound understanding of ESG issues, trends, reporting standards, and best practices.· Experience managing and implementing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.

    · Experience with change management, business risk and cost benefit analysis. · Excellent communication skills and the ability to form positive and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

    Desirable· Professional sustainability body membership such as IEMA or BSc or above (or industry equivalent experience) in an environmental sustainability subject.· Experience working with quality management standards such as ISO.· Experience with B-Corp or other relevant industry certification schemes.· Experience working in a face-paced manufacturing environment.
