The Role:
Business Analyst required to work across multiple projects toidentify opportunities to improve business and IT processes.

Working for a project manager leading the business analysis phase and supporting the design and delivery of software changes and handover to operations.

Area of Responsibility Use Agile project methodologyEnagage with business SMEs to understand and define business problems and carry out requirement gathering workshops to capture detailed business requirementsWork with business SMEs to identify and validate the key business requirements.

Interpret business requirements into requirement specfications.

Create Requirement Traceability Matrix to ensure all requirements are considered in solution and appropriate test strategy is defined for each requirement.

Engage with project leads to ensure that the defined requirements are understood, are accurately documented and fully meet the solution requirements of the project.

Create interface catalogue so all related applications / capabilities are considered in the scope of the solution.

Carry out data analysis to map out any changes to the data modelWork with cross-functional business teams to re-engineer business processes and continuous improvement efforts, being able to map process flowsWorking with IT, evaluate potential software solutions, including off-the-shelf and open source components, and the system architecture to ensure that they meet business requirements.

Create functional requirements in use cases/storiesCoordinate requirements walk-through and sign-offs, verifying with user representatives/stakeholders that use cases and process models accurately portray specific business needs.

Contribute to project planning activitiesLead and facilitate structured workshops with stakeholders and end users to identify and prioritise requirements.
Experience liaising with stakeholders to elicit requirements and translate these for other members of the development team.
Translate business and functional requirements into a comprehensive solution and user stories.
Identify people and systems impacted by functional and non-functional requirements.

Work alongside testing team to ensure that all software components are tested adequately and participates in Quality Assurance/UAT.Manages requirements risks by proactively tracking and communicating issues and devising methods to mitigate them.

Knowledge / ExperienceAblility to lead business analysis work requirements within large projects/programmes of workAbility to support strategic project planning and decision makingExperience of working as a business analysis in a large manufacturing environmentAbility to take a holistic view across the order to delivery landscapeGood interpersonal skills with differing levels within the organisationBe able to contribute to end to end project lifecycleAbility to document ideas, requirements, potential solutions and associated issues, including requirement capture, requirement management, maturity, and traceabilityAble to document Use Cases, Acceptance Criteria, Interface documentation, systems diagrams, touch point, system process documentsAble to understand and document technical discussion and responses of ideas and solutions in a cohesive user friendly mannerKnowledge of working with different software methodologiesUnderstanding of systems concepts, modelling techniques and methodsExcellent analytical and troubleshooting skillsAbility to produce clear and concise documentation suitable for technical and non-technical audiencesExperience of outsourced and offshore IT delivery modelIf you are passionate about bringing innovation to the projects you work on and want to join a global company, then this is the place for you.
