- Lead single commissions and accountable for the quality of delivery
- Identify BD opportunities within their clients
- Manage the client relationship at project or commission level
- Support in measuring and addressing client satisfaction across all programmes
- Confident in gathering and reporting on internal data.
- Direct functional people management responsibility
- Mentor and support their direct line teams
- You will be responsible for financial management of projects, recognising business opportunities and putting together bids to win new business as well as negotiating and agreeing contracts.
- You will continuously work to strategically expand, preserve or improve procedures, standards or policies for our client projects whilst sticking to regulatory guidelines.
- You will be expected to achieve the highest standards of professional competence and demonstrate this ability in all dealings with our clients and professional contacts, reinforcing the brand and profile of Croftstone.
- You will drive performance standards and technical excellence through expert communication and effective use of the performance management process.
- Maintaining and developing good relationships with clients is key and as part of that is taking every opportunity to uphold and increase the profile of Croftstone as a provider of professional, premium quality services to the construction industry.
- Provide input in continuously improving Croftstone's internal processes.
- Ability to produce various documents, in an appropriate format, to communicate/enable decision making.
- Knowledge and understanding of industry developments.
- You will need to stay close to marketing opportunities and where appropriate bring to the attention of Directors and the Business Development Department, in order that they may assist in following up potential leads enabling the development of new business
- Excellent knowledge of construction contracts such as: ICC, NEC, JCT, etc.
- Experience of working within a client organisation, either directly or through a secondment arrangement would be of benefit.
- Experience of undertaking cost/commercial management as part of integrated, multi-organisation, collaborative teams.
- Experience line managing project teams across a matrix organisation
- Exposure to major UK infrastructure projects
- 3 to 5 years' experience
- Degree Qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar qualification
- Ideally hold or working towards an Accredited Chartered status, such as RICS, CIOB, ICES
