    Description

    Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is shaping the future of aerospace and delivering some of the nation's most important programs for the Australian Defence Force.

    We are seeking an MRO Services Operation Manager to lead our Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Services Team leading supporting the P8-A Poseidon platform at Royal Australian Air Force Base Edinburgh.

    As one of our Senior Managers, you will be responsible for providing leadership, strategic planning and technical guidance for large multi-skilled support teams.

    This role will provide the successful applicant an exciting management opportunity in a unique, fast paced environment

    The successful candidate is to be both a creative and dedicated individual who will harmonize and lead a collaborative culture.

    This position requires the leadership skills necessary to make decisions with sound judgment, to train and mentor employees for improved performance, and guide the day-to-day operations successfully.

    Manage a team of staff and liaising with other managers to ensure the timely progression of aircraft maintenance activities
    Act as a member of this BDA Program Sustainment Services leadership team and contribute to the effective management of the business
    Develop and execute integrated plans, policies and procedures and provides input on business and technical strategies, goals, objectives
    Manage the regulatory maintenance environment under a Defence Aviation Safety Regulation Part 145.
    Formal qualifications in project management (or equivalent) that meets minimum requirements of Australian Qualifications Framework Level 5 (Diploma)
    Experience in building and sustaining collaborative relationships with peers, leaders and customer representatives in a multi-cultural environment
