    What you'll do:

    • Key project lead ensuring the successful migration to the cloud from our legacy data centres
    • Provide hands on technical leadership to multiple squads and work with architects to define, plan and ensure sprint delivery as per SDLC defined.
    • Responsible for the design, development and implementation of short and long-term solutions to information technology needs through new and existing applications, systems architecture, network systems and applications infrastructure.
    • Modifying or adapting existing designs
    • Reviews technology requirements and business processes; codes, test, debugs and implements software solutions
    • After migration deliver the backlog of improvements and ensure the cloud is utilised to its full capability with 24/7 service
    • Ensure governance of technical deliveries, including supporting artefacts
    • Provide technology and business subject matter expertise into delivery projects and solutions consultancy
    • The future ambition is for this role to manage a team

    Qualifications:

    • Strong experience is a similar technical delivery role
    • Good cloud experience
    • Strong hands on technical experience in the below
      • Java Spring boot & Maven
      • Linux shell scripting
      • Cloud ideally GCP
      • BigData processing
      • Jenkins
      • Docker
      • Kubernetes
      • Microservices

    Extra points for any of the following:

    • Migration to cloud experience
    • Experience with
      • Google dataflow
      • Google IAM
      • Google pubsub
      • Google cloud functions
