    Overview
    Our client is a growing indie studio who have been working on an exciting title which has recently in early access. They are a community driven studio who develop games with the community in mind, incorporating community feedback into their title heavily to craft an immersive game. They are now currently on the lookout for a seasoned Game Designer who can help in the design of character design and the 3Cs. They are looking for an individual who can bring innovative ideas to the table.

    Role Overview:

    • Create and refine gameplay mechanics with a focus on character design and the 3Cs ensuring optimal performance and user experience on console platforms.

    • Prototype new heroes and gameplay features using Blueprints and GAS (Gameplay Ability System) in Unreal Engine, gathering early player feedback and facilitating rapid iterations.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guide features from concept to completion, providing feedback and direction at every stage of development.

    • Identify opportunities to improve design processes and workflows, and work closely with development partners to implement these enhancements.

    • Participate in regular playtests and provide valuable feedback on global system features and other game components.

    Responsibilities:

    • Demonstrated experience working on at least one high-quality game (AA+ title) in the gaming industry.

    • Expertise in designing exceptional gameplay features, including character design, 3Cs design, and familiarity with console and controller gameplay.

    • In-depth understanding of current gaming trends, with a particular focus on multiplayer titles, especially Shooters and MOBAs.

    • Excellent communication skills, capable of providing and receiving constructive feedback to enhance the game development process.

    • Proficiency in working with Unreal Engine, including creating Blueprints. Equivalent experience with other game engines, visual scripting, and scripting is also acceptable.
