    Tencent Overseas IT has the mission to empower Tencent's rapid global growth with future-ready, global IT platforms, applications, and services.

    We are chartered to lead the Overseas IT strategy, architecture, roadmap, and execution. Satisfying our internal/external customers and becoming a world-class global IT team are our top aspirations.
    We are currently seeking a passionate Sr.

    Solution Engineer, reporting to Tencent Europe IT Center, this position will be based in London, UK, and responsible for requirements gathering, solution preparation and delivery, including IT products & platforms, Enterprise applications, Cloud infrastructure, and DevOps optimization.


    Primary Responsibilities:


    Serve as a subject matter expert in both IT and business domains, identifying, understanding, and defining customer needs, objectives, and business requirements.

    Collaborate with global IT teams and local operations teams abroad to deliver optimal IT and cloud infrastructure solutions for Tencent's Europe Gaming business.

    Offer professional technical advisory and support to our Europe business, encompassing solution preparation and evaluation, Proof of Concept (POC), demonstration, and professional service delivery.

    Drive the adoption of existing IT solutions within the business based on need and value, representing feedback from the business to the IT department.

    As a key member of Tencent Europe IT team, coordinate business demand and IT requirement review meetings, producing high-quality reports on business requirements and other essential IT documentation.

    Regularly engage with relevant cross-functional stakeholders (business and IT in both HQ and Overseas), to manage expectations and provide updates on product and project status.

    Continuously enhance IT product and solution management processes, focusing on improving Speed to Market through initiatives such as process optimization, automation, self-service, and supportability.

    Define and deliver quantitative and qualitative data-driven analytics and metrics to drive and measure product capabilities adoption, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvements.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.5+ years of continuous experience preparing and delivering technical solutions in the internet or game industry.

    Have public cloud and IDC (Internet Data Center) related experience and certification (AWS/GCP/Azure/TC, etc.).Familiar with SaaS products and Solutions, experience in Cloud-based IT solution implementation is preferred.

    Strong understanding of IT solutions, IT planning process, and IT project management in the Game development/publishing/operation field.
    Demonstrable results in delivering modern, integrated, innovative cloud-based applications. Candidate can operate across business and IT teams, confident enough to ask questions of both IT and business experts.

    Outstanding communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, to all levels of an organizationGood logical thinking ability, strong data analysis ability, strong insight and judgment on business's IT needs.

    Strong deliverables management and running meetings for requirements, technical design, progress, and status. Fluent in English,Chinese is preferred but not required.
