    Description

    Role Summary

    Are you excited when you see people answer God's leading into missions? Would you like to use your gifts working with our HR team to tell others what God's up to in TWR and how they can be a part of it? In this part-time, volunteer role, you'll represent TWR to individuals and groups, walk with people as they discover if God's desire for them is to be involved with TWR, and help us connect with potential missionaries.

    Please note: This is a part-time, remote volunteer position.

    Recruit staff needed to carry out TWR's global ministry. Mobilize men, women and families who want to serve short or long-term and fulfill God's leading in missions in their lives.

    Core Competencies:

    • Commitment to Jesus Christ evidenced by a personal relationship
    • Excitement about being involved in full-time missions and willingness to develop a team of prayer and financial partners
    • A heart for inviting believers to join the global call for missions
    • Cultural sensitivity within international teams and a team spirit
    • Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and professionally
    • Ability to manage priorities and workflow with attention to detail and excellence ✓ Exhibit good people and administrative skills

    Responsibilities:

    • Connect with missionary, volunteer, short-term and intern contacts, inquirers, applicants and candidates to actively mobilize them for service and to ensure that their questions and concerns are responded to in a timely manner
    • Represent and communicate the mission and ministry of TWR to various groups around the country (TWR covers travel costs)
    • Coordinate assigned recruiting event logistics, including registration, attending the event, and presenting TWR while following up with contacts made
    • Look for new avenues from which to recruit missionaries and investigate their potential
    • Encourage other Christians to engage in global missions

    Desirable Qualifications:

    • Excellent knowledge of written and oral English
    • Proficient in Microsoft 365
    • Sales experience helpful but not required
    • Cross-cultural experience and experience living overseas
    • Experience in Ministry Partner Development (MPD) (raising support) desired but not required
    • Ability and willingness to travel occasionally within the U.K.

      • Use your knowledge about the people of Afghanistan to bring the good news to this hard-pressed people group
