    What's the position?

    As a Technical Leader focused on KYC, you'll serve as the glue between our product vision and technical execution. Collaborating closely with Tech Leaders, designers, and cross-functional teams, you'll ensure that our technical solutions align seamlessly with business goals and compliance requirements. Your role involves co-owning the technical aspects of our product, driving innovation, and maintaining a deep understanding of our technology stack and architecture.

    KYC Skills Required:

    • Proficient in KYC regulations and compliance standards, ensuring that technical solutions meet legal requirements.
    • Experience working with KYC-related technologies and tools, such as identity verification systems.
    • Ability to integrate KYC processes seamlessly into our product development lifecycle, balancing regulatory requirements with user experience considerations.
    • Strong analytical skills for assessing KYC-related risks and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
    • Proven track record of collaborating with regulatory and compliance teams, as well as third-party vendors, to address KYC-related challenges and ensure alignment with industry best practices.

    Responsibilities:

    Product Understanding:

    • Collaborate closely with the Product Owner, Designers, and stakeholders to comprehend the product vision, roadmap, and user stories holistically.
    • Translate business and design requirements into technical specifications, ensuring alignment with the overall product strategy.
    • Maintain a deep understanding of the technology stack, architecture, and infrastructure supporting the product, while considering design implications and requirements.
    • Collaborate with vendors and third-party providers to ensure smooth development off our services.

    Feasibility Assessment and Collaboration:

    • Co-own the technical aspects of the product alongside the Product Owner and Designer, ensuring a unified understanding and approach.
    • Participate actively in meetings with business stakeholders, Product Owners, and Designers to align technical feasibility with business objectives and design requirements.
    • Engage with other Technical Leaders to align technical solutions, standards, and integrations across products or systems.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of technical solutions and interoperability between various product components.

    Team Coordination and Management:

    • Lead cross functional technical team by providing clear direction and priorities derived from the product roadmap.
    • Ensure seamless integration and interoperability between frontend web, mobile applications, and backend microservices.
    • Foster collaboration among teams, encouraging communication and sharing of technical insights and challenges.
    • Ensure alignment and integration efforts among different technical teams working on related or interconnected products.
    • Collaborate with platform-specific experts to implement best practices and optimize performance across platforms.
    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure team performance and product success.
    • Regularly monitor and analyze team performance against established KPIs and metrics, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
    • Provide regular performance feedback and coaching to team members, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
    • Address any issues or obstacles hindering team performance, proactively seeking solutions and support as needed.

    Forecasting and Planning:

    • Utilize data-driven insights and industry trends to forecast technical needs, resource allocation, and product timelines.
    • Develop and maintain product plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and resource availability.

    Work Closely with Regulators and Compliance:

    • Collaborate with regulatory and compliance teams to ensure that technical solutions meet legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Stay updated on relevant regulations and compliance standards, integrating them into the product development process as necessary.

    Technical Guidance:

    • Act as a subject matter expert on technical aspects within business domain, guiding and facilitating the team in making informed decisions aligned with the product vision and business goals.
    • Address technical challenges, provide solutions, and ensure the technical integrity of the product.

    Collaboration and Communication:

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and customer support, to ensure effective communication and coordination during incident response, change management, and other operational activities.
    • Share knowledge and expertise with team members, documenting best practices, troubleshooting techniques, and standard operating procedures.

    Stakeholder Management:

    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including developers, QA, designers, and non-technical stakeholders, to convey technical requirements and solutions in a clear and understandable manner.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize technical tasks and features based on business value and feasibility considerations.

    Continuous Improvement:

    • Drive initiatives for continuous improvement within technical teams, advocating for best practices, efficient processes, and the adoption of new technologies or methodologies.
    • Monitor industry trends, technological advancements, and competitor products to identify opportunities for enhancement.

    What are we looking for?

    • Proven experience as a Technical lead or similar leadership roles in a fast-paced IT environment, preferably with hands-on experience.
    • Strong Understanding of Agile, Lean methodologies and product lifecycle management.
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Leadership and team management skills, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions
    • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
    • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
