    Description

    We are recruiting for a Nurse Team Leader - Ward 10a who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.

    Ward 10a is a 24 bedded unit providing care to all patients.

    We can offer you the benefit of training and the chance to focus on developing your management skills, whilst making great working relationships at all levels and an environment in which you'll really be listened to.

    We are committed to helping you reach your fullest potential.

    You will work as an integral part of the multidisciplinary team and must demonstrate expertise and leadership in the delivery of care to their patients.

    The post holder will have an ability work collaboratively ensuring the delivery of high quality and safe patient centred care is adhered to at all times.

    Supporting continued education, training and staff development is paramount.

    Qualifications/Training
    RGN/RN Adult Branch
    Diploma or degree in nursing/healthcare related subject
    Management and leadership skills
    Management courses
    Counselling and appraisal skills
    In depth knowledge of the nursing care of acute elderly care patients
    Understanding of the day to day management to running a ward
    Understanding of, and commitment to, equality, diversity and inclusion
    Experience and evidence of engagement around equality, diversity and inclusion issues in relation to policy, service development and service delivery in respect of both services to users and the management of staff
    Medical and nursing experience
    Ward nursing management experience at upper band 5
    Extended role skills including IV drugs, cannulation and phlebotomy
    Experience in acute medicine and or elderly care as an RN
