To plan, manage and lead a purchase to pay team designed to improve processes and procedures across the Council targeted at delivering best value and realising opportunities for delivering enhanced financial efficiencies.
To deliver an efficient purchasing service for the organisation with appropriate governance and risk measures in place.
Support the Service Manager to develop the team's strategic objectives and service plans by working in partnership with colleagues (within and out with the service) and by taking personal responsibility for planning how these are delivered effectively and efficiently to service users.
