An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Gas Turbine Technical Advisor to join our Field Services Team. You'll travel to our Customer sites across the UK, Europe and further afield to support with outages, providing a high quality service at all times.
What you'll be doing;
Representing Mitsubishi Power Europe, work as a Technical Advisor for Gas Turbine and associated equipment outages Work within the Field Service Support team providing outage planning and support, leading quality and continues improvement processes. Support ST and Generator team on outages as required. Organise the manpower during outages, identifying the critical path of the outage and ensuring the work is completed within the time and quality expectations Interpret and apply drawings, field procedures and technical documents to open/close activities Implement quality control procedures during disassembly, inspection, and assembly of turbines and related equipment. To work actively on outage planning, execution, and improvement within Field Service. To review and ensure that documentation packages issued from Field Service Department meets MPW standards. Review disassembly data and provide recommendations Develop, review, and revise field procedures and related technical information.What we're looking for;
Proven related experience and/or relevant skill and knowledge for more than 8 years working for Power Pants sector Time served apprenticeship in Power Industry or Equivalent Good communication skills (English Speaker as Mandatory) Computer knowledge and mastery of common software packages for office work General Management / Soft skills Team Leadership Commercial / Financial Management Budgeting control Human Resources. Health and Safety Quality assurance / quality control Specific Knowledge/Skill: General knowledge of following areas is required.
