    Accountant – Accounts Receivable Specialist

    Sygnature Discovery is a world-leading integrated drug discovery Contract Research Organisation based in the UK and Canada with its headquarters in Nottingham and additional facilities in Alderley Park, Macclesfield, Glasgow, Montreal and Levis.

    Therapeutic areas of expertise include oncology, inflammation and immunology, neuroscience, metabolic diseases, infectious diseases, fibrotic diseases and more.
    the Canadian subsidiary of Sygnature Discovery, is looking for a person to join its finance team in Lévis to occupy the position of Accountant – Accounts Receivable Special

    Under the supervision of the Head of Finance, the candidate will be responsible for several accounting activities related mainly to accounts receivable, including certain month-end and year-end entries.

    Assign and track internal project numbers.
    Calculate monthly rebillable items that are assigned to projects and invoice these items.
    Manage client projects eligible for SR&ED tax credits and perform required calculations.
    Actively participate in month-end and year-end processes (journal entries, accruals, accounts receivable, SR&ED provision, etc.).
    Contribute to the implementation of an ERP, particularly for the customer/accounts receivable section.
    Manage intercompany revenue in conjunction with the UK finance team.
    Produce various accounting reports and analyses.
    Support the accounting team with various accounting activities.
    Knowledge of how an accounting system and ERP works, knowledge of NetSuite is an asset.
    Good command of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
    Ability to provide quality service and thoroughness.
    Advanced level in both French and English.
