Full time Accounting / Finance

Description

Sales

Raise sales invoices with customers on instruction of department heads
Post relevant sales into accounts software
Liaise with office in the North regarding jobs and chase relevant paperwork & invoices
Ensure all costs relating to other group companies are captured & invoiced
Ensure WIP is maintained and accurate
Ensure Trackers is up to date and reconciles back to accounts
Debt Collection where necessary
Verisae Credit Control

Purchases

Have all purchase invoices approved by relevant manager
Post all purchase invoices to accounting software - ensure correct allocation and accurate entry
Ensure all accruals are accounted for
Ensure all invoices are compliant with CIS and VAT
Ensure accounts reconcile to supplier statements and all queried invoices are accounted for
Ensure invoices are paid in a timely manner pay when chased but before going on stop

Wages & Payroll

Run monthly payroll & weekly payroll in a timely manner
Process pension payments
Ensure payroll costs are captured and allocated correctly
Ensure all net deductions and expenses are paid correctly
Dividends paperwork

Costs Control

Office - ensure cost control over variable overheads
Works - ensure all costs are captured and correctly allocated to correct jobs

Management Accounts

Prepare monthly and quarterly accounts to be presented to board of directors

Cash flow

Prepare weekly cash flow analysis

Statutory Returns

VAT Returns
CIS & PAYE Returns
Child Maintenance Schedules
Arrested Wages
Complete Tax Returns for Doncaster Directors
Office of National Statistics

New employee procedure
Issues employees contracts
Departing employee procedure
Annual Leave & Sick Leave Management

Other Duties

Type up documentation for Directors and management
Any other duties deemed necessary by management or directors
