    Our team is the backbone of our success, and as an Associate Director you will be responsible for the development of CBTax's market presence, support the origination of new business opportunities, take responsibility for innovative client delivery and excel in thought leadership, whilst managing projects and work streams for client delivery.

    The Associate Director will work closely with the Delivery Director, Managers and C-Suite to successfully deliver work and grow the business in the UK.

    We are seeking proactive individuals who can independently manage tasks while also collaborating effectively with other Senior Managers, Directors, and Clients.

    Candidates should have experience in client portfolio management, a significant part of the role will be business development of existing and new clients as well as potentially developing a specialist field of technical and/or sector knowledge and expertise.

    Preparing government incentive claims.
    Drafting detailed technical reports to support the R&D projects included in the claims.
    Preparing HMRC submission documents supporting the R&D claim.
    Managing a portfolio of clients and overseeing project delivery.
    Responding to HMRC queries or liaising with them on behalf of clients regarding R&D claims.
    Offering advice on tax technical points to clients and internal stakeholders.
    Supervising junior team members and updating senior stakeholders on project progress.
    Identifying and pursuing new business development opportunities.
    Strong technical knowledge of UK's R&D tax.
    Strong project management skills, capable of handling multiple live projects concurrently and managing one's workload effectively.
    Excellent communication skills, serving as the main point of contact for managed projects with various stakeholders.
    Strong written skills for report writing, technical memo drafting, and concise advice notes.
    Analytical skills for numerical analysis of client data.
