    Description
    Job Title: Remote Triage Manager
    Mentus Recruitment are proudly working with a leading provider of mental health services dedicated to delivering high-quality care and support to individuals in need. Our client are committed to improving access to mental health resources and promoting overall well-being within our community.
    Position Overview: We are seeking a diligent and empathetic Triage Manager to join our team. The Triage Manager will be responsible for conducting pre-assessment checks with patients prior to their appointments with clinicians. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring that all relevant information is collected and organized efficiently, facilitating a smooth transition for patients to meet with their designated clinicians.

    Key Responsibilities:

    ?Conduct pre-assessment checks with patients to gather relevant information and assess their needs.

    ?Use provided templates to document patient history, symptoms, and any other pertinent details.

    ?Communicate effectively with patients to ensure a clear understanding of the assessment process and address any concerns or questions they may have.

    ?Collaborate closely with clinicians to relay patient information and prepare them for appointments.

    ?Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection regulations when handling sensitive patient information.

    ?Provide support and guidance to patients throughout the pre-assessment process, demonstrating empathy and professionalism.

    ?Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of all pre-assessment activities for record-keeping purposes.

    ?Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills related to mental health assessment and triage procedures.

    Requirements:

    ?Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a mental health or healthcare setting.

    ?Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with patients in a compassionate and non-judgmental manner.

    ?Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accurate documentation and thorough assessment procedures.

    ?Ability to work autonomously and effectively manage time, especially during evening and weekend shifts.

    ?Knowledge of mental health assessment tools and protocols is desirable but not essential.

    ?Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining patient confidentiality.

    ?Willingness to undergo training and development to enhance triage management skills.

    ?Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and patient needs in a dynamic healthcare environment.

    Compensation: This position offers a competitive hourly rate ranging from £30 to £50 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Evening and weekend shifts will be predominantly required to accommodate patient availability.
