    The Governors of St Martin de Porres Catholic Primary School are seeking to appoint a highly

    motivated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our wonderful school community.

    We are seeking a practitioner who:

    • enjoys working as part of a team with the ability and flexibility to work in a variety of ways working particularly with children with special educational needs on a 1:1 basis, and in small groups.
    • shows initiative, and is proactive in developing the learning of children at St. Martin de Porres.
    • is committed to contribute fully on our journey of school improvement, going above and beyond to benefit our children.
    • has excellent interpersonal and organisational skills to enable them to work well as a member of a hard working family.

        The successful applicant must be sympathetic to the Catholic ethos of the school and will be required to sign the Catholic Education Service contract.

        This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.

The successful candidate will be subject to necessary pre-employment checks, including: an enhanced DBS; Childcare Disqualification (where applicable); qualifications (where applicable); medical fitness; identity and right to work.
