    Tasks

    Therole

    Revalue Nature (RVN) islooking for an exceptional Manager to join our Project Assessmentteam.

    As the Assessment Manager you will play acrucial role in overseeing the endtoend development of projectsstarting from their origination to their certification by a carbonstandard such as Verra.

    In this role you willbuild a holistic view of the project and oversee its content. Youwill collaborate with our team of experts including scientistsforesters and biodiversity leads to consolidate and criticallyreview the scientific components. You will also work closely withthe project manager to help prioritize and drive projectsprogress.

    Your primary objective will be tocritically review and challenge our projects ensuring that we focusRevalue resources on the highest quality highest potentialprojects. Additionally you will present the projects to theAssessment Committee when decisions need to bemade.

    We are looking for a versatile leader withexceptional conceptual analytical and communication skills a talentfor solving complex problems and a willingness to delve intodetails and acquire knowledge quickly. Previous experience inNature Based Solutions (NBS) is highlypreferred.

    This is a full time position.

    Location: ideally UK/Europe; Africa or SE Asiawill also be considered

    What youwill do

    • Coach andmanage a team of Assessment Associates andAnalysts
    • Structure the sequence of assessmentcategories to ensure efficiency
    • Give teamguidance on assessment/contentrequirements
    • Pressure test & reviewassessment write ups to ensure they are clear to the point andanswer the right questions
    • Hold a holisticview of multiple projects in your mind
    • Ensureteam has a shared mental model of our projects at alltimes
    • Bring assessments to the AssessmentCommittee

    Requirements

    • Outstanding communication skills

    • Evidence that you canwork in remote teams are a selfdriver with a willingness to takeinitiative and committed to continuous improvement andhighperformance within a complex and fastgrowingsector
