    About the Department

    Finance operates at the heart of IAG Loyalty, providing company-wide information management, finance support, and Avios currency reporting.

    The department has high exposure to IAG, and its success is judged by its efficiency, the accuracy and reliability of the information it reports and the value it adds to the decision-making process. We need highly motivated people who relish change and constantly strive to drive through improvements in how we operate.

    The opportunity:

    Reporting into the (Group) Senior Reporting Manager, you will lead the consolidation reporting to IAG and the co-ordination of all Statutory audit requirements across all Loyalty entities. This role will require an in depth understanding of all financial accounting across the IAG Loyalty entities to ensure accurate reporting.

    What you'll be doing:

    • Lead the quarterly reporting of the consolidated FA Pack to IAG;
    • Lead and co-ordinate the external audit requirements throughout the year for all Group companies;
    • Be the key contact for IAG Group Reporting;
    • Responsible for the Spanish Branch financial reporting requirements;
    • Manage 1 direct report who is accountable for preparing the financial reporting packs;
    • Responsible for the preparation of the annual financial statements for all IAGL companies;
    • Challenge any financial accounting treatment across the IAGL companies;
    • Challenging the consolidation process to continuously make efficiency improvements.

    What we are looking for:

    • Qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA);
    • SAP experience is desirable;
    • Proven track record of developing & implementing process improvements;
    • An ambitious individual with excellent knowledge and technical skills within financial reporting;
    • Excellent leadership skills with an ambition to develop team members;
    • Excellent verbal, written, numeracy and organisation skills;
    • Ability to work independently, continuously seeking opportunities for change and improvement with a 'can do'/ 'resolution based' attitude to make these a reality;
    • Innovative mindset – someone with a sense of urgency who is excited to create something new, iterate, make mistakes and learn
    • A passionate and engaging communicator both within IAG Loyalty and across IAG, with the ability to influence diverse audiences
    • Able to adapt to new situations and responsibilities, demonstrating flexibility at all times in a fast pace environment;
    • Strong at building effective relationships;
    • Adaptable and self-motivated individual with ability to manage and prioritise demanding workloads and deadlines.
