    Account Director: PR

    Location: London based

    Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 base (DOE) + Double OTE + Benefits

    The organisation:

    Founded in 2006, our client is a UK based telecommunications company who specialise in providing connectivity, cloud services, and network infrastructure solutions to businesses. Setting themselves apart from other ISP's, our client has built their own fibre network and owns the process end-to-end, giving them full control and responsibility over their network, delivery, infrastructure, and the whole customer experience.

    What you'll be doing:

    The Account Director will be responsible for new business development at enterprise level, whilst also driving sustainable financial growth through boosting sales within existing accounts. Working directly with the Head of Sales and other key stakeholders across the business, the Account Director will take on a vital role within the organisation and will be pivotal in assisting in the growth of their market leading product and price point.

    Day to Day:

    • You will be the customer facing representative of the organisation in your specialist industry.
    • You will need to work your pre-existing network and build relationships with the key stakeholders in the industry showcasing the benefits of the organisation and how it can help them solve both their connectivity and business challenges.
    • You will be expected to attend the major conferences, networking events and social calendar.
    • Drive a vertical specific sales plan to be the "Go to person for enterprise, business grade connectivity in London".
    • Collaborate with the internal departments and external partners to execute business plans and strategies for all industry related business possibilities.
    • Evaluate customer requirements and build business cases for your specific verticals needs and wants.
    • Be able to hold your own with the current on trend topics, and offer insight, in the industry as well as navigate their specific connectivity needs.
    • Support the management in contract development, customer negotiations and product enhancements.
    • Generate new sales from customers on our brand-new network.

    About you:

    The ideal candidate will have a solid background of working in a fast-paced B2B sales environment and will be an industry expert, bringing their expertise and previous client relationship to the role. A hunter mentality is essential to open up new opportunities, secure new business and support the organisation's goal to take over the corporate London market.

    A team player attitude and previous experience of coaching/mentoring new starters is highly desirable and would set the Account Director up for success. Working in a verticalised approach, the Account Director will become the SME for their vertical and as such it is essential that they have experience of selling into Healthcare (inclusive of public and private) and FinTech sectors.

    The requirements:

    • The ability to be positive, possess a great work ethic and passionate to overachieve.
    • You have experience of working with CRM systems and sales enablement tools, preferably Salesforce and Outreach.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other office productivity tools, with ability to learn new software and systems.
    • Able to articulate your ideas and approach to a wide array of audiences.
    • An ability to prioritise workload and meet targets set by others.
    • An ability to work cross-functionally and influence decision making with senior-level audiences without hesitation.
    • Take personal responsibility to meet commitments and actively seek additional responsibility, all whilst working consistently with unparalleled attention to detail.
    • You are a team player but can also lead and can communicate well to a variety of stakeholders and peers.
    • You are fluent in English (written and verbal).
    • Work to all sales KPI's both weekly and monthly
    • To be a flexible team player, and naturally willing to see things through to completion.
    • To have strong analytical problem-solving skills, strong time-management skills, and the ability to organise, coordinate and prioritise competing priorities.
