    We are looking for an enthusiastic, supportive and positive manager with experience of working effectively with young people.

    The postholder will be responsible for the development and management of the learning resource spaces within the college ensuring that they are well maintained, up to date and are attractive and comfortable places to study outside of the classroom. You will also champion reading and the development of literacy skills across the college encouraging students to read in order to enhance their subject knowledge.

    The Learning Resources Manager will the team of Academic Learning Coaches who provide a cover supervisor service, 1:1 and small group academic support to students.

    This role is fast-paced, and varied, therefore you must be able to multitask while demonstrating strong leadership, organisational and communication skills. You will also have the confidence and ability to engage with our students, supporting them throughout their time at the college.

    Situated within easy reach of Birmingham City Centre, we are a highly successful and vibrant College, having been graded as 'outstanding' in all categories once again in December 2023 by Ofsted.

    Our College excels in providing a broad, inclusive and high-quality education to all of our learners, which has resulted in some of the highest levels of progression to Higher Education in the sector.     The salary for this post is on the Colleges' Support staff pay points 19, which is currently £33,325 per annum, FTE, (this will be adjusted for term time, plus 10 days working).
