    SO, WHAT'S THE STORY?

    Sitting within the EMEA Marketing Team, this position plays a pivotal role in Dr. Martens' brand building activities. You will be responsible for adopting the global PR strategy and developing a compelling EMEA PR strategy to grow and elevate brand demand through campaigns and a product focus. You will also build and manage brand reputation and develop a preference for both brand and products working closely with the EMEA Brand marketing team and country PR Managers to earn media as well as paid partnerships.

    THE GIG

    As our EMEA PR & Partnerships Manager you will be responsible for:

    STRATEGIC BRAND DEVELOPMENT

    • Developing and driving the EMEA PR and communications strategy for Dr. Martens, in close collaboration with the Global Head of PR, ensuring the focus is on quality media coverage that builds the brand reputation as well as inspiring and growing our consumer base
    • Drive EMEA PR and communications initiatives/partnerships through efficient campaign and project management, including KPI tracking, reporting and data analysis
    • Drive further digitization of PR in conjunction with digital and media teams - be aware of new social and digital media platforms and influencers relevant to the Dr. Martens target consumers
    • Overseeing the EMEA PR budget including the country PR budgets to optimise spend

    TEAM LEADERSHIP

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on EMEA brand initiatives and storytelling
    • Influence internal stakeholders and external agencies that represent the brand
    • Partner with global to implement campaign and brand messaging adopted to local needs
    • Work closely with global to maintain an aligned comms schedule and calendar to support EMEA plans
    • Develop strong collaborative working relationships with country teams, peers and global stakeholders across the business
    • Represent the EMEA PR team (hybrid working from London-based office), setting high standards of excellence and ensuring consistent alignment to strategy and objectives

    EXTERNAL PARTNERSHIPS

    • Encourage rich, engaging coverage of Dr. Martens that will make the biggest impact with our EMEA audiences. Driving near-term business impact and long-term brand awareness
    • Enhance already long-established strong relationships with senior key media and influencers across EMEA consumer titles/storytelling partners.
    • Work closely with the global team on our influencer strategy and elevated content creation in EMEA
    • Collaborating with the EMEA ecom team on affiliate strategy and ways of working
    • Oversee the management of day-to-day country requests for editorial and brand-profiling opportunities
