    Storage Sales Specialist | Central Government

    This role has been designated as 'Edge', which means you will primarily work outside of an HPE office.

You'll be selling HPE products, services, software, or solutions to customers, both directly and indirectly. Working at HPE, you'll have the resources to develop your talent and creativity.     Day to day:

    • Develop new Storage solution sales pipeline to increase the company's market share in the UK Central government accounts.
    • Seek out new Storage opportunities for customer value by expanding and enhancing existing opportunities to build the pipeline in and drive pursuit in the UK Central government acounts.
    • Work and provide support to the Public Sector Account managers.
    • Help set direction for business development and storage solution replication.
    • Sell Storage solution & Services to customers on a partnership basis.
    • Focus on growing contractual renewals for the UK Central government accounts with more complexity, to higher- total contract-value renewals.
    • Establish a professional, working, and consultative, relationship with the client, including the C- level for the UK central government accounts by developing a core understanding of the unique business needs of the client within their industry.
    • Contribute to enduring executive relationships that establish the company's consultative professionalism and promote its total solution capabilities.
    • Maintain a broad market and competitor knowledge to ensure credibility with Customer Executives.

    If you are...

    • Good at partnering, innovating, and making things happen. You are aligned to our core values.
    • Typically 5-8 years in IT sales
    • Experience selling Storage solutions
    • Experience selling into the public sector (central government is a bonus)
    • Have or happy to go through Security Clearance
    • Demonstrated achievement of achieving a higher quota diversity of business customer, and higher level customer interface
    • An extraordinary performer with heavy analytical skills and are able to understand the industry, as well as competitor's offerings
    • Excellent in verbal and written communication, presentation and negotiation
