    We're seeking a Technical Services Manager that will oversee and manage all technical aspects of operations within a retail space for our client.

    This role demands a strong technical background, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to effectively manage a team of technicians and contractors.

    The Technical Services Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and comfort of the site for all stakeholders.

    Technical Services Manager – Key Responsibilities

    Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive technical services program for the retail space, encompassing maintenance schedules, procedures, and protocols.

    Oversee the planning and execution of preventative maintenance programs for all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security, fire, and life safety.

    Manage and coordinate all aspects of facility repairs and maintenance, from vendor selection and contract negotiation to work order management and quality control.

    Develop and manage technical services budget, ensuring cost-effective and efficient resource utilisation.

    Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including health and safety standards, through coordination with various departments, tenants, and external stakeholders.

    Manage and oversee maintenance staff and contractors, including training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
    Foster relationships with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure prompt and efficient service delivery.
    Technical Services Manager – Your Profile
    Extensive experience in facilities management, technical services, or a related role, preferably within a retail environment.
    Strong technical knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security, fire, and life safety.
    Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
    Proficiency in computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS) and facility management software.
    Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
    Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently, with strong crisis management skills.
    Technical Services Manager – Package
    ~ 55-60,000 Location: SW

    London Hours:
    Mon to Friday, onsite, with a one Saturday every 6 weeks on rota
