    Your Role

    The Finance Director at GP Bullhound will play an integral role providing strategic financial leadership and guidance to the managing partners and partner group. You will be responsible for leading the finance team, ensuring compliance with regulations, optimizing financial performance, and supporting business growth and profitability.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and financial KPIs.
    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
    • Manage cash flow, liquidity, and investments to optimize returns while maintaining appropriate levels of risk.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with banks, financial institutions, and other stakeholders to secure financing and manage banking relationships.
    • Evaluate potential investments, mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives from a financial perspective.
    • Identify and assess financial risks and implement appropriate risk management strategies to mitigate potential impacts on the business.
    • Lead and mentor a team of three finance professionals, providing guidance, support, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
    • Develop and execute financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning.
    • Provide insightful analysis of financial performance, trends, and variances to support decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement.

    Job requirements

    Your Experience

    • Proven experience in a senior financial management role, preferably in financial services in a mid-market advisory firm or PE/VC
    • Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations, including GAAP and IFRS.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
    • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, analysis tools, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.).
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions and levels of the organization.
    • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of building high-performing teams and driving results.
    • Strategic thinking and vision, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights and recommendations.

    Your Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CPA desirable
    • Fluency in another European language is desirable
