    WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

    We are seeking an ambitious sales executive to join our growing team on our flagship vet portfolio in the US

    THE ROLE:

    This role is responsible for developing a strong sales pipeline and achieving growth targets from new business, growing exhibiting revenues and developing new and creative ideas for revenue growth.

    The US Vet Portfolio currently consists of 2 events in the US with a view to expand further in the future. The portfolio's flagship event New York Vet, was launched in 2017 and quickly became a leading event in the US animal health calendar. Following entering the US market in 2017, we acquired Wild West Vet based out of Reno, NV with a history spanning over 25 years.

    Reporting to the Group Sales Manager, you will need excellent sales skills both face to face and, on the phone, the ability to write highly professional sales proposals, ability to grasp the fundamentals of technical terminology and content and excellent attention to detail. You will also ideally have a demonstrable track record of building a pipeline and closing new business. You will be responsible for effective sales management and exceptional customer experience to deliver profitable events. As a strong and experienced trade show and sales professional, our sales team leads the sales strategy for booth and sponsorship across the events, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver an exceptional audience and vendor experience onsite and year-round.

You must be an expert data-driven problem-solver, especially under time constraints and in challenging situations. You must also be energized by the opportunity to create lasting and impactful change to our sales and sales planning approach. As a team player with a "no task is too small" attitude, you'll also be able to effectively engage with the senior leadership team, customers, and CloserStill team members.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Determine product offering(s) needed to achieve clients goals
    • Develop an annual sales plan in support of team and personal goals and objectives
    • Implements effective rebooking processes and onsite sales strategies/targets
    • Deliver new exhibit and sponsorship sales revenue
    • Obtain additional sponsorship revenue from returning clients
    • Attend competitor events with the team to source new business
    • Provide timely and accurate weekly sales reports and forecasts
    • Collaborate with marketing to develop exhibitor marketing emails and newsletter content as needed.

    Qualifications:

    2+ years selling within the trade show space, preferably B2B sales

    Exceptional communication skills

    3+ years CRM experience

    Strong negotiating skills

    Weekends and Travel required

    Skills:

    • Excellent telephone sales skills and ability to sell face to face (English speaker)
    • Good questioning and even better listening skills
    • Relationship building skills
    • Ability to create urgency and close business
    • Ability to write professional sales proposals
    • Knowledge of Microsoft 365, teams, and Salesforce
    • Understanding of the value of large-scale events and the benefits to all stakeholders

    What we offer...

    This is a full-time, permanent, hybrid position. CloserStill Media offers a competitive base salary of $65,000 to $75,000, plus a bonus program relative to annual sales goals, and a comprehensive set of benefits.
