    Description
    We are seeking a dedicated and passionate 1-1 Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team.

    The successful candidate will provide personalised support to a student with special educational needs, ensuring they have access to an inclusive and enriching learning environment.

    Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and support strategies for the assigned student.


    • Adapt teaching materials and resources to meet the specific learning needs and preferences of the student.
    • Foster a supportive and nurturing relationship with the student, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
    • Collaborate with other professionals, including therapists and external agencies, to provide holistic support to the student.

    Previous experience working as a teaching assistant or support worker in a special educational needs setting is highly desirable.


    • Knowledge of various special educational needs, including but not limited to autism, dyslexia, ADHD, and physical disabilities.
    • Understanding of different learning styles and ability to adapt teaching approaches accordingly.
    • Relevant qualifications in education, special educational needs, or a related field would be advantageous.
