    Job Title: Business Development Manager

    Location: Based North East England/Southern Scotland, with hybrid remote working flexisbility

    Salary: Negotiable depending on skills & experience, plus uncapped commission.

    For the last 30 years, Cybit have been supporting businesses across the UK with all areas of IT consultancy, technical support and hosting; as well as having specialist Cyber Security and Data & Analytics arms to the business. Wherever our customers are on their IT roadmap, we can support them, from a simple IT review to a full cloud migration and ongoing infrastructure support.

    We operate out of three offices Newcastle, Berkshire & Belfast, and have 150 employees across Cybit. We have great relationships with our vendors, and we're a Microsoft Gold Partner, AWS Advanced Consulting Partner, Palo Alto Platinum Innovator, F5 Gold Partner, Qlik Elite Partner, Alteryx Premier Partner and more

    What you'll do

    The Business Development Manager will work within our Managed Services divison and be responsible for account managing existing clients whilst also driving new business by using best in class levels of strategic solution-led sales.

    You'll identify, follow up and close new business opportunities, and facilitate and enable long-term strategic relationships with customers for our Managed IT Services. We want to provide the best solutions for our customers; and you'll present and sell them the best solution based on their needs. You'll actively build a sales pipeline that will support targets through market activity, as well as prospecting and networking activities.

    We're looking for someone with

    • Experience of selling IT solutions such as cloud, network, telephony, within a Managed Service Provider
    • A love for new business development
    • Effective account management skills
    • A consultative selling approach based on high-level, long term customer strategy – not "quick wins"
    • The ability to communicate technical solutions in an appropriate manner to both C-level contacts and IT professionals
    • Excellent organisation and time-management skills with a high attention to detail
    • Ideally based in the North East of England or South of Scotland.
    • A full UK driving license.

    This role is paying a competitive salary depending on skills and experience, plus uncapped commission.
