- Able to repair, test and configure specialised broadcast/telecommunication units (UPS's, MDU's, Power Supplies, Amplifiers, Fan Assemblies)
- Experience of competent fault finding and repair/replace to component and board level on a broad range of Broadcast, Networked and Mechanical Products
- Evaluate, diagnose, repair and configure a broad range of highly specialised electronic and mechanical broadcast/telecommunication equipment.
- Responsible for batch repairs of items such as UPS's, MDU's, Power Supplies, Amplifiers, Fan Assemblies, specialised broadcast transmitters and some Networking Equipment
- Complete complex testing and measurements to ensure compliance with regulatory, industry and customer requirements.
- Ensuring the quality of works from internal and external repairs meet precise and exact equipment specification and or customer expectations.
- Knowledge testing IP Networked or similar connected technologies)
- Experience using a wide range of Test Equipment including not limited to Spectrum Analysers, Network Analysers, Power Meters, Power Sensors, Frequency Counters
- Able to Upgrade/downgrade firmware/software and license options.
- Experience of soldering electronic components to a high standard
- Excellent technical knowledge of electronic and mechanical components
- Working knowledge of IP Networking, SNMP, GPS, UHF and/or VHF signals, frequency, and systems
- RF experience would be desired
