- Individual skilled in undertaking comprehensive diagnostics of emergency preparedness and response (EP&R) systems.
- 5+ years' experience in providing technical and/or investment planning recommendations for developing and strengthening existing emergency response institutions, frameworks, and assets.
- Excellent skills in the assessment, monitoring and analysis of data ideally relating to EP&R systems.
- Experience in preparing for and organising technical mission/workshops with relevant stakeholders.
- Demonstrated capacity to write technical reports and investment plans ideally related to EP&R
- Strong international knowledge, including connections with global NGOs, CSOs and Government officials.
- Experience working under World Bank contacts or similar large donors.
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills in English. Multi linguists preferred.
- Ability to travel globally/ deploy on a short-term notice, as necessary.
