    Description

    Senior Commercial Manager Position

    Due to continued growth, the position of a Senior Commercial Manager has become available to join our Commercial team based in London. The HS2 Main Civils Contracts include both Lots S1 (Euston Tunnels & Approaches) and S2 (Northolt Tunnels). Scope of works includes twin-bored tunnels (TBM driven), SCL tunnels/adits, shaft sinking, bridge demolition and reconstruction, utilities diversions, earthworks, and the construction of site compounds.

    Security Vetting: HS2 requires SCS to undertake security vetting on all staff to the UK Government Baseline Personal Security Standard. All successful candidates will be subject to this vetting procedure as part of the on-boarding process.

    Role Requirements

    1. Hold an RICS/CICES accredited Degree (or equivalent) or enrolled on an accredited part-time post-graduate Degree.
    2. Proven experience in leading commercial functions and operating at a senior level within large, complex programs and or businesses preferably within contracting organizations.
    3. Relevant experience in managing contracts, from strategic negotiation to operation, ideally within a large-scale infrastructure environment.
    4. Champions Sustainability Safety, Health, and Environment by putting personal safety and wellbeing at the heart of everything we do and helping the environment and communities to thrive.
    5. Having integrity by always doing the right thing in the right way.
    6. Must be customer-focused by striving for excellence through understanding, anticipating, and meeting their needs.
