    The Governance Manager will be responsible for supporting within the broader Company Secretariat Function within a leading investment bank in London.

    This role requires an individual who is well-versed in the financial services sector, with a keen ability to manage and oversee governance-related tasks.

    Our client is a well-established, large-scale investment bank with a global footprint. With a focus on capital markets, they are renowned for their strong commitment to regulatory compliance and risk management.

    The Interim Governance Manager will report in the Group Company Secretary in their London office and be responsible for:

    Overseeing governance-related activities within the company's financial services department.
    Ensuring regulatory compliance across all operations.
    Supporting the ongoing regulatory requirements (e. regulatory applications, updating Statement of Responsibilities and prescribed responsibilities).
    Regularly reporting to senior management on governance and compliance matters.
    Continuously improving governance processes and procedures within the department.
    A successful Interim Governance Manager should have:
    A strong background in the financial services industry.
    Experience in governance within an FCA regulated environment.
    A solid understanding of governance processes and regulatory compliance.
    Ability to develop and implement effective risk management strategies.
