    Job Summary:


    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join an organisation in London as the Head of AI Governance.

    As the Head of AI Governance, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a robust framework to ensure responsible and ethical use of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies within our organization.

    You will lead a team of experts and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to establish best practices, policies, and guidelines related to AI governance.


    Responsibilities:
    Develop and implement a comprehensive AI governance framework to guide the responsible development, deployment, and use of AI technologies.

    Collaborate with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, legal and compliance teams, data scientists, and engineers, to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and ethical standards.

    Lead the design and implementation of policies, procedures, and guidelines governing data privacy, security, transparency, and fairness in AI systems.

    Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential biases, risks, and ethical concerns associated with AI applications and propose mitigation strategies.

    Stay up to date with the latest developments in AI governance, regulatory frameworks, and industry best practices to ensure continuous improvement and compliance with emerging standards.

    Provide guidance and training to internal teams on AI ethics, responsible AI practices, and compliance with AI governance policies.
    Foster a culture of ethical AI within the organization through effective communication, awareness campaigns, and training initiatives.

    Establish relationships with external stakeholders, such as regulatory bodies, industry groups, and academic institutions, to stay informed about industry trends and contribute to the development of AI governance standards.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, data science, ethics, law, or a related field. A Ph.
    D. is a plus.
    Proven experience in AI governance, responsible AI, or related fields, preferably in a leadership capacity.
    Strong understanding of AI technologies, algorithms, and their ethical implications.
    Familiarity with relevant regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, data protection laws, and emerging AI ethics guidelines.
    Knowledge of risk management principles and experience in conducting audits and assessments.
    Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
    Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment and influence decision-making processes.
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically.
    Demonstrated commitment to ethical practices and responsible use of AI.
