    About the Role

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Reception Administrator to join us at Chelmer Medical Partnership on a part time basis, with hours to be discussed at interview as various shifts are available.

    In this essential front-line position, the role is responsible for ensuring that appointment bookings are well-managed, a safe high-quality service is delivered to our patients, patient queries are answered and administration work is completed to a high standard.

    The successful candidate must be flexible to be able to work extra hours to support colleague's sickness and holiday absence.

    Candidates will be required to work across three sites, Humber Road Surgery, Melbourne House Surgery and Tennyson House Surgery.

    The shifts available are Monday – Friday –

    About the Candidate You will have the following key skills:
  • Adaptable and friendly, with strong administration, time management and organisational skills;
  • Excellent communicators able to work in a confidential and discreet manner;
  • Able to "think on their feet" in a busy working environment;
  • Able to multi-task, work hard and maintain a high level of attention to detail, when under pressure;
  • Able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, as well as comfortable working independently.
  • About Us Chelmer Medical Partnership is a friendly and supportive 32,600 patient partnership with 7 Partners and around one hundred employees based in Chelmsford. We are a three-site practice based at Humber Road Surgery, Melbourne House Surgery and Tennyson House Surgery.
