    We are looking for an

    who is designing, implementing and supporting new operating environments in the IT and OT domain, utilizing virtualization technology on premise and in the cloud and ensuring patching, monitoring and backup procedures are in place. The IT Infrastructure Engineer is also managing the end-to-end delivery of small to medium sized Infrastructure projects related to server, storage, VDI, data center/hosting and IT security.

    What is possible?

    • Planning, implementing and maintaining infrastructure services for IT and OT operations.
    • Providing technical planning advice after assessment of business requirements, current system landscape, integrations, and performance metrics. Provide hard- and software recommendations.
    • Reviewing technical infrastructure or system designs to ensure consistency with set standards and policies and assess impact to the production environment.
    • Documenting current and new operating environments.
    • Providing L2 support for infrastructure which is not in the support scope of the managed service provider.
    • Provide guidance and support to the infrastructure support team, incl. the management of major incidents and escalations related to IT/OT operations. This includes hands on support to fix critical issues as part of the incident resolution process.
    • Participating in corporate change control procedures and methodologies

    What do you bring?

    • 5+ years of experience in IT, concentrating on infrastructure implementation & operations, coupled with tertiary level qualifications in computer science, technology, or a related discipline.
    • Excellent knowledge of networking, server, storage and virtualisation technologies.
    • Strong understanding of Microsoft server products and demonstrated experience in the planning, implementation and maintenance of Microsoft based Client Server solutions, including MS Active Directory.
    • Proven / hands-on experience managing VMWare vSphere, Netapp HCI, EMC, PowerEdge server, or other forms of Hyperconverged environments and understanding of Hypervisors
    • Understanding of and experience with SSO solutions as well as MFA concepts and FIDO
    • Strong analytical and conceptual thought abilities.
    • Strong technical documentation skills.
    • Ability to support and resolve a wide range of daily technical issues; eagerness to investigate and learn new technologies.
    • Ability to travel in Europe and occasionally international as this position requires an international focus.
    • Experience implementing solutions utilizing the Fortinet Security Fabric, such as Fortigate firewalls and Fortiswitches, FortiNAC.
    • Experience with Amazon AWS & Oracle OCI desired.
    • Experience servicing geographically dispersed regions
