    Description

    Thrive Oldham is looking for a Network Management Technician in the Leicestershire Area



    Corporate Responsibilities:


    • Ensure services benefit the people of Leicestershire
    • Maintain positive relationships with customers and colleagues
    • Deliver activities efficiently and effectively

    Service Responsibilities:


    • Collate and provide information on network management
    • Support Network Officer with coordination duties
    • Authorize requests for Street Works license and manage highway assets
    • Monitor progress of remedial works and ensure compliance
    • Manage administration processes for fees and charges
    • Control traffic for effective network management
    • Work independently to meet defined targets
    • Provide high-quality services in accordance with policies
    • Ensure EToN compliance

    Qualifications:


    • NVQ3 or equivalent in Civil Engineering or relevant subjects
    • Extensive experience with evidence of continued learning and development
    • Experience in engineering, project delivery, customer liaison, IT, report writing, and problem-solving

    Knowledge:

    • Current highways legislation, CDM regulations, design standards, construction techniques

    Skills and Competencies:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong organizational and IT skills
    • Ability to interpret maps, plans, and technical drawings

    Other Requirements:

    • Willingness to travel across the County as needed
    • Commitment to Equal Opportunities
