    The role of Pastry Junior Sous Chef:

    • Preparing classic European patisserie, using quality?fresh?ingredients, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation, taste, and presentation.
    • Being an integral part of the wider kitchen management team, helping to run our busy service, ensuring that all company standards are met and maintained.
    • All aspects of kitchen management including ordering of stock, stock control, people management and development, fostering a culture of teamwork, creativity, and continuous improvement.
    • Working as part of a professional team within a highly organised, well-equipped kitchen.
    • Contributing ideas towards?seasonal changing menus and weekly specials.

    What we're looking for in a Pastry Junior Sous Chef:

    • Experience as a Pastry Sous?Chef?or Pastry Junior Sous Chef?within?a similar standard establishment
    • Excellent knowledge of?classical patisserietechniques as well as in-depth product knowledge.
    • To communicate effectively with all departments in the spirit of the company values.
    • Proficient andknowledgeable on all Food Safety and?Health & Safety?legislation.
    • Has the right to work in the UK.

    Expected earnings from £19.04ph
