    Description

    This is an administrative co ordinating role to assist administrative and production teams in the ITV newsroom. This includes tasks such as multiple database management, visa coordination and assisting and supporting the general newsroom.Key Responsibilities
  • Arrange visas, filming permits, and translators for all news productions including long form
  • Manage Foreign News database of Passports, Visas and Accreditations, updating records and reminding staff when renewals are required
  • Manage H&S Training Matrix for ITV News, booking staff onto courses, tracking when updates/renewals are required
  • Manage Newsroom Starters and Leavers database, ensuring info is updated on all corresponding databases
  • Manage and track other Newsroom databases including Access, Licences and Passwords for key systems (Slack, Adobe, Stills, Archive etc)
  • Assist with coordinating ITV News Work Experience Programme
  • Oversee requests and records for Specialised Clothing and Equipment/Props etc for News Coverage Filming
  • Assist with input and updates to SDS/Shortlist Freelance registration
  • Assist with Purchase Orders, invoice coding, and expense queries and reconciliation
  • Manage Newsroom Emergency Radio
  • Assist with general Insurance and H&S queries
  • Assist with general Newsroom Office requirements including Meeting Rooms, Post Room & Deliveries
  • Assist with music reporting and clearances
  • Support the wider ITN administration team on extra projects as and when required
  • Provide general administrative support to the newsroom
  • Assist where necessary with production coordination including logistics, T&A bookings

  • Computer literate with proficiency in Excel
