    At Naval Solutions we support our clients deliver Submarine Infrastructure projects by providing innovative engineering and technical solutions tailored to making a real difference now and in the future.

    Job SummaryWe are seeking a knowledgeable and highly experienced Principal Consultant to provide expert advice and technical solutions to our clients in the maritime industry.

    The successful candidates will have a strong background and extensive experience and be able to provide consultancy services in any of the following disciplines in Submarine engineering:
    Marine engineering, Safety Engineering and Safety Management,Systems Engineering,Supportability, Nuclear Engineering,Naval Architecture,Key ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic guidance, thought-leadership and expert advice.
    Shape our technical services, lead Naval Solutions' technical disciplines.
    Undertake feasibility studies, cost-benefit analysis, risk analysis and assessment.
    Provide Technical Support and Assurance to clients.
    Review and evaluate design proposals, specifications, and technical reports.
    Author technical documents, reports, manuals, and procedures.
    Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in Submarine design.
    EssentialStrong Leadership skills and experience. Self-starting personality. Strong Technical background. Excellent Teamwork skills. Candidates must be able to satisfy SC clearance criteria for UK National Security Vetting. 5 years of experience in the Submarine industry, with a proven track record of success projects.
    DesirableDegree in relevant Engineering discipline related field.
    Engineering Fellow or working towards becoming an Engineering Fellow.

    Although not essential, this role would particularly suit a Royal Navy/ Merchant Navy/ ex-MoD personnel.10 years of experience in the Submarine industry, with a proven track record of success projects.

    In-depth knowledge of either vessel design, construction, or operation, Understanding relevant regulations and standards. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment. Strong project management skills, with the ability supervise multiple projects Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
