    Our client, a Tier 1 main contractor, is embarking on an exciting venture in North Cambridge. With a focus on excellence and innovation, they are committed to delivering exceptional construction projects that surpass client expectations.

    Currently, they are seeking an experienced Design Coordinator to oversee the design aspects of a prestigious £40 million new build office project.

    You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of a bespoke office block. The position demands meticulous attention to detail and a deep understanding of design principles.

    The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in managing complex commercial projects and coordinating with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to realise design specifications effectively.

    Lead the design coordination process, collaborating closely with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to translate design concepts into executable plans.

    Ensure that design deliverables align with project requirements, budget constraints, and regulatory standards.
    Coordinate the design development timeline, tracking milestones and proactively addressing any delays or discrepancies.
    Provide technical expertise and guidance on design-related issues, offering innovative solutions to overcome challenges.
    Oversee the preparation and submission of design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
    Act as a point of contact for design-related communication, facilitating productive interactions between internal teams and external stakeholders.
    Relevant degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
    Proven track record as a Design Coordinator with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 Main Contractor.
    Extensive experience in coordinating design aspects of commercial projects up to £50 million.
    Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and building regulations.
    Proficiency in design software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM.
    Experience in coordinating with multiple stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
