    Overview of HR Technical Officer

    Pertemps have an exciting opportunity within Harrow Council for a self-driven and motivated HR Technical Officer join an expanding team.

    The role of HR Technical Officer has a competitive pay rate of 19.77 per hour. Other benefits include excellent training and support for career development and 21 days holiday (excluding Bank Holidays).


    Main Responsibilities:
    As an HR Technical Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the HR & OD function within Harrow Council


    Your responsibilities include:
    1.

    Data Management and Analysis:

    o Collaborate with the Head of Resourcing and broader HR Service to establish a systematic approach for collecting and analysing organization structure and establishment data.

    o Work closely with HR & OD colleagues to ensure coordinated and integrated data management within the ERP system.

    o Build credibility as a trusted partner by leading the establishment control process.

    Organizational Structure:
    o Organize and manage the organizational structure for the Council.

    o Understand employment policies, including change management, to provide advice to relevant stakeholders in collaboration with HR Business Partners.


    Staffing and Systems:
    o Support accurate implementation of staffing restructures.
    o Maintain and enhance the Applicant Tracking System.
    o Oversee the development of the payslips system.

    Skills and Qualifications:
    o Relevant qualification in HR or equivalent work experience.
    o Proficiency in Advanced MS Office Tools, especially Excel.
    o Clear understanding of data management principles (governance, analysis, security, quality, and integrity).
    o Knowledge of data protection law and safeguarding procedures. About us
