Analytics Senior Manager - Birmingham, United Kingdom - Irwin Mitchell

    Default job background
    Description

    Your Role

Our vision is to put data at the heart of everything we do, to unleash its potential across the business and enable data led decisions that will increase the value of our services to clients, colleagues and communities.

As Analytics Senior Manager you will be an evangelist for data insights, promoting and enabling data-led decision making around the business by engaging with key stakeholders.

The Analytics Senior Manager will be a part of the Analytics Leadership and be seen as a leader of the strategic direction of data and analytics within the Legal Services and Operations teams. You will play a significant role in the development of the Analytics Strategy for Irwin Mitchell, bringing the needs of the senior stakeholder group, to ensure the implementation of that strategy delivers value for the business.

You will work with senior business stakeholders across the group to turn information into useable intelligence and knowledge. You will need to be both technically and commercially strong to be able to translate both the business need to data & analytics, and the analytics outputs to the senior stakeholders.

The Analytics Senior Manager will lead stakeholders in developing their data strategy requirements, analysis solutions and the types of outputs they require from operational real-time reports, to executive dashboards, to deep-dive insight reports, to ensure they can make the right decisions for the business.

You will be required to lead a large team of Analysts to deliver those solutions, dashboards, or insight reports to stakeholders to a high quality, in a timely manner. Aswell as leading the team, you will also lead project teams, sometimes including Engineers, to ensure the right data is created to meet the analytics and business requirement.

You will play a leading role in building the capability of the broader analytics team, bringing significant expertise, and actively coaching and mentoring other team members.

    What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead the engagement for Data & Analytics with business leaders and subject matter experts to identify and prioritise analytics projects and initiatives, as well as define business requirements and specifications.
  • Support the development and execution of the overall Analytics strategy across Irwin Mitchell, building and executing the delivery roadmap, aligning with the Irwin Mitchells vision, mission, and goals.

  • About You
