    The Company

    Syntax Integration is a boutique Managed Services Provider, primarily serving clients in the financial, property, and investment sectors.

    The Role:

    As a 3rd Line Service Desk Engineer, you will play a crucial role in delivering support to ensure our clients' business systems operate cost-effectively and robustly.

    What you will do:

    Acting as a single point of contact for our customers, you will manage all tickets within SLA and serve as an escalation point for junior team members. Your responsibilities will also include implementing internal improvements and overseeing knowledge management and documentation.

    About You:

    To be successful in this role you will need:

    • At least 5 years of experience on an IT Service Desk/MSP in a similar role.
    • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, Azure Fundamentals, Azure Administrator Associate).
    • An appreciation of ITIL Service Management Disciplines i.e., Incident, Problem, and Change Request Management.

    You will have experience with:

    • Microsoft Cloud solutions, Office 365, and Azure.
    • Device Management and Remote Systems, i.e., Intune, Datto RMM, TeamViewer.
    • Using backup products and disaster recovery solutions (e.g., Azure, SkyKick, Barracuda and Spanning).
    • Strong understanding of Windows Server Operating Systems, Windows and MacOS.
    • In-depth knowledge of laptop/desktop hardware troubleshooting.
    • Practical knowledge of troubleshooting TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, Exchange, and WDS.
    • Practical Knowledge of file and folder security management in reference to NTFS permissions and SharePoint permissions.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft security suites.

    Shift Patterns

    Mon-Fri (09:00am – 5:30pm; 10:00am-6:30pm with 1 hour break included)
