We're determined to deliver a high quality, safe, sustainable, and reliable network. The service structure has recently been re-imagined, ensuring we're best positioned to meet the high expectations of our customers, and evolving challenges such as climate adaptation.
Oxfordshire County Council is looking for a Contract Manager to work across the Highway Maintenance service and to manage its brand new NEC Term Service Contract which is currently being tendered to the market and will replace the existing long-standing contract in April 2025.
About the role
The Highway Maintenance service invests around £60m per annum through a range of contracts with our supply chain.
The Contract Manager will lead the day-to-day function of contract management and administration for the Highways Maintenance service. They will ensure contractual obligations are fulfilled, and that the contractual particulars are executed in the appropriate manner, protecting the interests of the County Council whilst enabling the fast-paced delivery of high quality services to our residents.
Whilst the main responsibility will be for the NEC Term Service contract between OCC and it's appointed Provider, that responsibility will extend to other contracts of varying forms and with other parts of the supply chain.
