    Internal Audit Industrial Placement

Approximately 400,000 users utilize our cutting-edge technology and platforms to engage in trading financial products they are passionate about.

    IG Group is in search of a motivated undergraduate pursuing a degree in finance, accounting, or a related business field to partake in an 11-month, paid industrial placement within the FTSE 250 Internal Audit division.

    The selected candidate will collaborate with a team of 15 professionals located in the UK, Poland, and South Africa. The team's primary task is to evaluate business risks and associated controls.

    Participants may focus on IT audit, examining technology-related activities such as software development, IT operations, and cybersecurity, or delve into financial, operational, and compliance auditing based on their expertise and background.

    This role offers hands-on exposure within a company-wide function responsible for assessing the risk and managing the control environment essential for business success, including:

    • Assessing risks and testing control activities
    • Enhancing data analytics skills and AI capabilities
    • Interest in financial services and IG product trading experience
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint)

    Salary: Competitive pro-rata salary

    Working Model: Hybrid (3 office days per week)

    During the 11-month placement, you will gain insights into various business functions like strategy, commercial development, back-office operations, finance, risk management, and compliance.

    Upon commencement, a dedicated line manager will guide and assist you throughout the placement. Additionally, you will attend training sessions alongside fellow graduates and access a wide array of learning resources available at IG.

    You will become part of a vibrant graduate community, fostering valuable connections. Upon successful completion of the placement, you may apply for our graduate programme.
