    About the Role:

    We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for an Individual Giving Officer to join the Environmental Investigation Agency (EIA), a renowned organization that investigates and campaigns against environmental crime and abuse. This part-time role requires 21 hours a week, with a combination of office-based work in London and remote work from home. The salary range is £28,000 - £32,000 per annum (pro rata), depending on experience.

    Role Overview:

    As the Individual Giving Officer, you will play a crucial role in EIA's fundraising efforts, focusing on raising income from individual donors. You will be responsible for leading supporter engagement activities, planning and implementing digital and offline supporter journeys, and working on new supporter acquisition campaigns through digital and telephone channels. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the organization's mission of combating environmental crime and abuse.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead the production of key supporter engagement pieces, including the Year in Review and Supporter newsletters.
    • Plan, implement, and evaluate digital and offline supporter journeys, focusing on appeals, digital, regular giving, and the weekly lottery.
    • Work with the Senior Individual Giving Officer on 40th-anniversary supporter engagement activities.
    • Collaborate with various teams to develop inspiring and targeted content and communications that increase supporter engagement and lifetime value.
    • Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of supporter journeys.
    • Serve as a key point of contact for supporters, ensuring a positive experience.
    • Lead on supporter acquisition campaigns, including weekly lottery, digital lead generation, and telephone fundraising campaigns.

    Requirements:

    • Demonstrable experience in an individual giving role in the charity sector.
    • Experience in creating successful direct marketing campaigns.
    • Excellent campaign management and planning skills.
    • Strong written communication skills and experience in writing compelling and engaging copy.
    • Good understanding of digital marketing and social media.
